Guided back country day tours. Own motorcycle required.

Have you purchased an adventure bike and looking for a bit of guidance as you start hitting those shingle roads, fords and farm tracks?. Let us take you on a companion ride where we will hand pick a local route to suit your riding ability, giving you the opportunity to tackle different sections of terrain in a graduated ride. Transitioning through tarmac, shingle and farm track riding while taking in some of Canterbury’s best mountain, valley and Coastal scenery on offer.

Departing/Returning 8.30am to 4.30pm

Our home depot is open from 8am allowing time for introductions and riders brief.

Stands up at 8.30am. a fun days riding with photo opportunities and breaks throughout the day, returning by 4.30pm.

Our tours depart and return to our home depot in Kaiapoi, Christchurch

Included in Companion ride

Tour costs provide for an experienced Guide on motorcycle as well as his fuel and insurance.

We have several route options to cater to riders ability with these routes being regularly ridden and checked for continued suitability.

You provide

Suitable dual purpose motorcycle. Please arrive with a full tank of fuel and ensure your bike is registered and warranted.

A current motorcycle license for the motorcycle you are using.

Bring pack lunch/water. Or there will be an opportunity before or during the day for you to purchase lunch.

Pricing

Our companion tours are $295.00 per motorcycle. We are able to offer discounts on 3 or more people. Please contact us to discuss numbers and discounted rates.

Cancellations

Cancellations made more than 2 days out are refunded in full.

Cancellations made less than 2 days notice will be refunded minus 20% cancellation fee. All cancellations must be received in writing to greg@rideabikenz.co.nz
